This 600 year old iron bridge still stands across the Pa Chu river, connecting Thimphu-Paro highway to the sacred Tachog Lhakhang. Built by Drubthob Thangtong Gyalpo, an unorthodox and renaissance figure in Vajrayana Buddhism, his legacy lives on in West Bhutan with this magnificent creation.
